Warren is a highly fire-blight-resistant dessert pear bred by Thomas Warren in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and released in 1976, widely regarded as one of the best-tasting pears. A sibling of Magness (a Seckel by Comice cross), it offers rich, sweet, buttery flesh. It is slow to come into bearing but exceptionally trouble-free.
