Papante

Papante is a traditional tobacco listed as Nicotiana tabacum by Urban Farmer and Kokopelli. Kokopelli describes vigorous plants with pink flowers and leaves reaching 50 cm long and 25 cm wide. Urban Farmer notes unusually dark green foliage; both suppliers describe leaves turning light brown when air-dried. The suppliers discuss historical placement under N. rustica, but identify their Papante material as N. tabacum.
