Purple or Red

Purple or Red is a dark reddish-purple sugar apple selection with fruit weight ranging from 136 to 398 g (5 to 14 oz) and quality rated good to very good; it is recommended for home landscape planting. Historically consumed and highly prized in Cuba for its sweet pulp, the fruit is eaten primarily fresh as a dessert fruit and is also used in ice creams, smoothies, and soft drinks.
