About Geffner

Geffner is an Israeli-selected atemoya (Annona x atemoya) cultivar that was trialed at the University of Florida's Agricultural Research and Education Center, Homestead, and the USDA's Subtropical Horticulture Research Unit, Miami, and was later propagated at the AREC. It has proven to be the most satisfactory atemoya variety under Florida conditions, setting fruit without hand pollination and producing fruit of good quality.
