Sheng

Sheng is an astringent, mid-season persimmon bearing large, bright-orange fruit with lobed, ribbed sections that look like a small pumpkin or a four-leaf clover from above. The flesh has a high jelly content and a spicy-sweet flavor with very high sugar readings, and the well-spreading tree crops consistently with some cold tolerance.
