Blue Solo, also called 'Bluestem Solo', resulted from crossing 'Big Bluestem' with 'Solo'. It has been well regarded in Florida for its low growth, dependable yields of good-quality fruit weighing 2 to 4 lb (1-2 kg), orange flesh, and rich flavor.
