Nabal is a classic Guatemalan avocado brought from Guatemala to the United States by plant explorer Wilson Popenoe in 1927 and grown in Southern California for roughly a century. It bears large, round, green fruit with rich, creamy, string-free flesh often compared to Reed, and to many palates even richer.
