Lamb Hass

Lamb Hass, originally trialed as BL122, is a Hass by Gwen hybrid selected in California and now grown commercially as a later-season complement to Hass. It offers Hass-like black, pebbly fruit with excellent flavor and high oil content on a more compact, upright tree. Slightly more heat- and cold-tolerant than Hass, it has become a mainstay of modern groves.
