Zhongnong Yangshen 2

Zhongnong Yangshen 2 (中农洋参2号) is a yellow-fruited American ginseng cultivar developed by the Institute of Special Animal and Plant Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences with research partners. Approved in Jilin in 2016, it is described by its breeder as producing abundant seed and long, thick main roots with relatively few fibrous roots. The breeder identifies central and eastern Jilin locations with more than 100 frost-free days as its cultivation region.
