Pocahontas

Pocahontas is an American elderberry selected from a wild plant in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Rockey Starnes supplied it to the University of Missouri in 2014. In replicated trials at two Missouri sites from 2015 to 2021, it often yielded more than Bob Gordon, although performance varied by site and year. Limited distribution to growers began in 2019.
