Redstone

Redstone is a seed-propagated Cornelian cherry selection developed at the USDA Plant Materials Center in Elsberry, Missouri, for conservation and amenity planting. It was selected for vigorous seedlings, dense growth and glossy foliage, and produces yellow flowers followed by abundant edible scarlet fruit. The release notice recommends it for farmstead windbreaks, wildlife habitat and revegetation in the central Corn Belt.
