Nativa de Altamira

Nativa de Altamira is a Colombian achira cultivar evaluated by CORPOICA for rhizome and starch production. In reported southern Huila trials, fresh-rhizome yield rose from 25.7 tonnes per hectare at six months to 50.6 tonnes per hectare at ten months. These are regional trial measurements, not a universal harvest recommendation; rhizome weight and extracted starch yield are different measures.
