About Bramble

Rubus, most commonly known as bramble, is a large and diverse genus of flowering plants in the rose family, Rosaceae. This genus is renowned for its delicious and widely cultivated fruits, including blackberries, raspberries, and dewberries. With species found on every continent except Antarctica, Rubus demonstrates remarkable adaptability and variety, ranging from thorny shrubs to herbaceous plants. The term "cane fruit" or "cane berry" is often used to describe many Rubus species, which are frequently grown with support structures like wires or canes.
