Lüsener

Lüsener is a traditional anise variety grown in Upper Austria. An Austrian Chamber of Agriculture guide from 2010 describes it as early ripening with good resistance to lodging, meaning stems falling over. The chamber's 2026 guide continues to identify Lüsener as widely grown in that region.
